What is an art workshop with Georgina Zafeiri like?
My workshops are very relaxing. With just 4 spaces you will get plenty of attention and constructive feedback so that you can develop your skills. You will be surprised how much you will improve in a short space of time. I am a professional contemporary artist with a Master of Arts in Drawing so you will be learning with someone who has plenty of experience and someone who regularly exhibits her work. You can see my Biography here. I will always clearly demonstrate the work first whether it be a mark making exercise or simple drawing or painting, then you will have your turn. I am always open to questions and if you want to show me some work that you've done at home - no problem!

The mediums that I teach are pencil drawing, charcoal, soft and oil pastels, inks, gouache, watercolours, acrylic or oil paint. All materials are supplied at my workshop but you are also welcome to bring your own. I always assess the needs of the class members as we go along and I aim to bring in inspirational props and images every workshop to draw and paint from.

I am personable and many people have enjoyed my workshops over the years. I strongly believe in the transitional power of art and its benefits for mental health and wellbeing. Most of all art and making art is my first love and I aspire to sharing my enthusiasm and skills with you! My workshops are fun and therapeutic "me time" and you will also have the chance to chat about art and make friends!
