Water Reflections - graphite drawing

In this drawing, I’m exploring the shapes and patterns formed by water and also its reflections. This is an ancient waterway called The Channel in Suffolk where during floods the water covers the road and there is a small to walk across, above the road. Today the water was just flowing through a pipe that went under the road and then spurted out into the stream. This is a pencil outline drawing. 

I use the flow of my natural creative energy. My most recent body of work is a collection of contemporary drawings entitled Ebb & Flow. The work explores different forms of water such is streams, the sea and lakes as well water usage. I enjoy layering and collaging images as well as exploring materials such as graphite, carbon copy transfer and different papers.
