Water Bottle - graphite drawing
Looking at the uses and forms of water in my life. The common plastic mineral water bottle. This will form the first layer of a collage. There’s a lot of simplicity in just using a pencil line. Nothing complicated or fancy.
I love layering images together in order for the viewer to think about why they’ve been places together. Where does your bottled water come from? Most likely, the mountains. Where does your plastic bottle end up? Most likely, in the sea. It’s a sad story.
I use the flow of my natural creative energy. My most recent body of work is a collection of contemporary drawings entitled Ebb & Flow. The work explores different forms of water such is streams, the sea and lakes as well water usage. I enjoy layering and collaging images as well as exploring materials such as graphite, carbon copy transfer and different papers.
