This work is a little experiment. First of all I’m drawing on a page of Chinese calligraphy exercise book. I’ve always been interested in grids. I’ve also used carbon copy paper to draw the water with. Carbon paper is something that doesn’t really get used much but I’m always trying different ways of tracing.

I use the flow of my natural creative energy. My most recent body of work is a collection of contemporary drawings entitled Ebb & Flow. The work explores different forms of water such is streams, the sea and lakes as well water usage. I enjoy layering and collaging images as well as exploring materials such as graphite, carbon copy transfer and different papers.
